Description

Shipbuilding, offshore constructions, steel structures, sea engineering, civil engineering – these are the fields we specialize in. We steadily develop and adjust our offer to changing market demands. We are the only shipyard in Europe which has already constructed 3 units for the installation and servicing of sea wind farms.CRIST has always been active in the field of shipbuilding, steel constructions and ship-repairs. Economic changes and growth of renewable technologies – such as wind and hydroelectric energy – created possibilities of activity on new markets. For that reason we are presently participating in the implementation of projects of specialized coastal structures, sea transport and units for exploration of marine resources. For many years we have been supporting eco-conscious initiatives what has initiated the execution of demanding and exciting projects: offshore constructions, barges and ships destined for installation of wind turbines Producing for the offshore business we successfully take advantage of our market niche. The construction of sophisticated units for installation and servicing of sea wind farms ranks us within the group of European leaders in this branch.more

Port of Gdynia Authority SA (PGA SA) is a public service company established on 30 November 1999 by the representatives of the Municipality of Gdynia and the State Treasury and has been serving as a managing body of the port since that moment. It directly manages the areas where the operating companies in which a PGA SA holds shares and other independent entities carry out handling and storage operations. The company carries out the objectives set out in the Act on ports and harbours, such as, inter alia, management of the property and port infrastructure, forecasting and planning the port development and the maintenance and expansion of the port infrastructure, while ensuring adequate standards of safety of persons and cargo handling as well as keeping the environmental standards. Carrying out the privatization processes under the Act on ports and harbours the PGA SA sells shares of the subsidiaries (while keeping the property used by the companies) in order to completely separate the spheres of management and operation, as well as for the increase of the capital strength and the competitiveness of the port operating sector. The aim of these actions is to maintain a stable and strong position of the Port of Gdynia in the Baltic region and within the European North-South transport corridor.more
