Entering the Seaport of Ravenna, Italy
Approaching the Port
As you approach the seaport of Ravenna, Italy, you will first see the breakwater that protects the entrance. The breakwater is marked with a red and white striped lighthouse, which is easily visible from a distance. Keep the lighthouse to your starboard side as you approach the entrance.
Entering the Port
Once you reach the entrance, you will see two jetties that mark the entrance to the port. The jetties are marked with green and red buoys, with the green buoy on the starboard side and the red buoy on the port side. Keep the green buoy to your starboard side and the red buoy to your port side as you enter the port.
Navigating the Port
Once inside the port, you will see a number of docks and piers where you can moor your vessel. The port of Ravenna is a busy commercial port, so be sure to keep a lookout for other vessels and follow all posted regulations and guidelines.
Exiting the Port
When you are ready to leave the port, simply reverse the process and follow the same route out that you took in. Keep the breakwater and lighthouse to your port side as you exit the port, and be sure to maintain a safe speed and distance from other vessels.
